The Word Witch is written by Sara Harms, an author and artist based in Vancouver, Canada.

Sara is a professional communicator with over ten years of copywriting, PR, and marketing experience. She is also an author of creative fiction. Under her pen name, she has had a short story published in the 2018 anthology Love & Bubbles, and regularly shares larger works online as web serials. Her first book won a Watty Award — an international writing competition held annually by the writing website Wattpad — in 2017. She is part of SFU’s The Writer’s Studio class of 2019.

As a bisexual artist, Sara supports the call for diverse literature and believes that representation matters in media. She’s a devout murderino, loves every dog, and believes in magic (and you).
